I came in for a terrible gum pain and was seen by the periodontist and a front desk nurse who said I had a cracked tooth and needed a 175.00 CT scan. No antibiotics or relief given aside the offer to prescribe ibuprofen. Stayed in pain the entire weekend and went back that following Tuesday who then told me I possibly needed gum surgery. It was confusing and frustrating. On top of that the MD couldn’t read the CT (money wasted)! The only person between the dentists and fast talking nurse who helped was the hygienist Lilly. She was very practical, patient, and explained to me how to help relieve the inflamed gums. She is the only reason I’m not running for the hills. If I’m not able to to see her moving forward; I will be leaving.
